We had an extraordinary holiday both with weather, activities, new friends etc. Our room was great, ......in the bungalows about 100 yards from our favorite place on the beach so it was quite handy! We did the catamaran tour and swam with the dolphins, then the Jeep safari tour .... snorkeling, swimming in a cave pool, touring the largest cave system and lunching at a farm. We all took scuba lessons at the pool. We made many friends with the Cuban staff......we were fondly known as the Family Grande (the BIG family!!!).</div> <bR> <div> Our hotel was overbooked the second week we were there so we took them up on an offer to vacate our room and spend two days in Havana! The Havana excursion was a great deal as we had a big tour bus, 31 people on the tour, our own tour guide that took us through old and new Havana and a 5 star hotel to stay in the night we were there. It would have cost us a small fortune to do this with the 6 of us on a paid tour! We enjoyed it, although at the end of two HOT days I think the kids were sick of "old buildings and history" and wishing they were on the beach!!!! </div> <bR> <div> Cuba is definitely on our list of places to go back to. We were pretty pleased with our resort.
